When: The procedure is to be used upon arrival into the classroom up to time for instruction. This period will generally last about 10
minutes.
Where: When the students come into the classroom they will gather appropriate materials from the designated location and proceed to
their desk. Bell work will be available and students will complete this at their desks.

Movement
All movement should be
done before the bell rings.
This would include:
sharpening pencil, getting
Interactive Study Guide,
throwing away trash, visiting
bathroom or locker.

Participation
All students are required to have
an answer to the bell work
question. If they dont know the
answer they should use their
classmates for help. At the end of
the 10 minutes allotted for bell
work all students will be required
to write down the answer provided
by the teacher, if their answer is
incorrect. Students should also be
ready to be called on to share their
answers.
Reminder Description:
During the first week of class the procedure will posted on the
projector via Apple TV.
o The first day the procedure will be explained and
walked through.
o The second and third day the procedure will be
walked through.
o The fourth and fifth day the students will perform
procedure with guided help.
During the first week teams that perform the procedure
correctly will receive bonus points.
After the first week the procedure visual will be viewed as
needed for each class.
There will be a sign to denote the location of the ISGs and a
checklist will be posted to remind students of materials they
will need for class.
Music will be played during the entire procedure, and will
stop when it is time to share answers.
