Careers and Military Base
There are only two careers that have had my interest for a while. The roll to protect the
people rights, help a human being heal, and to keep the peace intact. The job to save a life just in
a matter of seconds. To come to somebody needs or to have them come to you only because your
badge or coat you wear shows your roll into the community. People who work should have a job
that not only keeps them stable but makes them proud of what they do.
The first thought into somebody minds when they hear the sirens and see the red and blue
flashing lights is trouble or somebody is in need. There are people in this world that truly believe
that policemen are only here to tell us what to do and not do. That they are our enemies, when
really they are the heros trying to save the world from crime. Not everybody can carry the
responsible of being a cop or have the skills and knowledge.
The requirements to become a police officer is very simply and on point. Your
citizenship is required. Some agencies require officers to reside within their jurisdictions while
others do not. The highest education that you need to get in the force is a High School Degree or
GED. Some agencies require a bachelors degree or a minimum number of college credit hours
just depends on where you're trying to go. While criminal justice studies are the traditional route
for those aspiring to a career in law enforcement, many other fields provide you with a good
foundation. Sociology, psychology, and social work are a few other fields that are particularly
well suited for police work. For any law enforcement position, youre Valid Drivers License is

required to be clean. Some agencies require you to pass a Minimum Fitness Requirement, they
encourage you to already train before joining. There are six this that will completely stop you
from becoming a police officer and those are: felony conviction, a misdemeanor conviction
involving domestic abuse or a sexual component, illegal drug use, poor driving record, DWI/DUI
conviction, and poor credit history or other financial problems.

The skills to become a cop is very strict. If your natural skills are resolving conflict and
find fair solutions. If you fully think out the pros and cons before making a first move. Police
officers need a web of connections to all type of people. You should have the skills to easily
make friends, support people and internist them, also likes to engage in a conversation. The
ability to deal with people is very important sense that is what you will be working with. Being
firm is also a advanced if you have this. To defend a different point of view during a discussion,
even if your friends disagree with you and can intervene to have rules applied or to solve a
problem.
"I may be compelled to face danger, but never fear it, and while our soldiers can stand
and fight, I can stand and feed and nurse them, said by a registered nurse named Clara Barton. It
takes guts and courage to have someones life depend on your actions. The skills that are
required to have such a expreicemental job are: critical-thinking, compassion, attention to detail,
organization, calm under pressure, patience, and communication. These skills are important to
have because they work as part of a team with physicians, other nurses and healthcare
professionals to provide care, monitor health conditions, plan long-term care needs, administer
medicine, use medical equipment, perform minor medical operations, and advise patients and
their families on illness, care and continued care after a hospital stay.

A bachelor's of science in nursing, an associate's degree in nursing, or have graduated

from an accredited and approved nursing program are the degrees that can help you move
forward with your career. Licensure is required, and may be obtained from graduating an
approved nursing program and passing the National Council Licensure Examination. Depending
on the state that is at hands. The median hourly wage that these nurses make are $31.10, or
$64,690 a year.

The process of joining the Air Force is fairly simply, there are six total steps to pass to
become one of the members. The two things that are required before anything is you have to be a
U.S citizen or a permanent resident, a high school degree or GED with 15 college credits. The
test that is taken before your Physical Exam is called Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery.
This test is required to be taken before any training in any field. It covers four critical areas:
word knowledge, arithmetic reasoning, paragraph compensation, and mathematics knowledge.
The Physical and mental test is call Military Entrance Processing Station. When they have
discovered that you are able to participate in the field they will send you to Delayed Entry
Program Preparing Basic Training, to wait until they are ready to send you to Real Basic
Training. The last training you have to complete is called Technical Training and when you're
done with that, you're finally ready to be call a real member of the Air Force.
The skills and experiences to join the field are fairly simply also. You need to become an
Air Force officer, which requires a four-year college degree, before you can attend the service's
flight school and become an Air Force pilot. Both cardiovascular and pulmonary (heart and
lungs) health are important. Get your eyes examined. Determine whether you have any vision
restrictions. Inquire with an Air Force recruiter in your area for current information on Air Force
vision requirements for prospective pilots. Although not an issue that could get you

automatically disqualified, your vision is very important to the Air Force. I am interested in
joining the Air Force and becoming a police officer or registered nursing.
