You can undertake the research from anyone of the relevant functions of the
organisation e.g. Sales & Marketing, Finance and Accounts, Customer Service etc.
Task 1
1.1 Formulate and record possible research project outline specifications for the
above situation from any of the relevant functions of the organisation
1.2 Identify the factors that contribute to the process of Research project selection in
this situation
1.3 Undertake a critical review of key references for the Research project
1.4 Produce the research project specification
1.5 Provide an appropriate plan and procedures for the agreed research specification

2.2 Undertake the proposed research investigation in accordance with the agreed

3.1 Select and use the appropriate research evaluation techniques

a) Use an agreed format and appropriate media to present the outcomes of the
research to the management
