Basic concepts of measurement methodology (Chapter 1)

Temperature, pressure, velocity, and flow measurements (Chapters 7-10)
Strain measurements and course review (Chapter 11)

Evaluation: 1. Assignments (0%). But, the assignments are required deliverables, i.e. you
will receive a grade of FND if you fail to submit an assignment. They will be
assigned on Tuesdays and due on the Tuesday two weeks later. For sure you will
not pass the course unless you can do the assignments by yourself.
2. Midterm exam (25%). Thursday February 27, 2014. Location T.B.A.. Closedbook, one single-sided, hand-written formula sheet permitted. No mechanically
reproduced formula sheets will be accepted.
3. Final exam (75%). In the examination period. Covers all course material.
Closed-book, one double-sided, hand-written formula sheet permitted. No
mechanically reproduced formula sheets will be accepted.
