Residents of Boyle County may receive one library card free of charge. A photo ID and proof of
current address is required to receive a new or replacement card. Replacement cards cost $5.00.
Minors may receive a library card with parent or guardian signature. (Permission to access the internet
and/or check out AV materials may be given by the parent at any time by signing the registration card).
Children may receive a library card at age five or when entering kindergarten provided parents have
cards in good standing.
AWE Literacy stations and desktop computers are available in the Childrens Library for children 17 & under.
Please Note: These computers only allow limited internet access to certain pre-approved sites.
Edmodo is available on these computers.
Desktop computers with internet access are located on the 5th floor and are available to adults and children with parent/guardian permission. (Permission is given by signing the back of the registration card.)
For minors age 17 & under, access to the Internet must be authorized in person by a parent or
guardian prior to use. Subsequent use of the Internet by a minor is allowable with a Library card in
good standing or a photo I.D. (Anyone can access the internet on their personal device.)
All users must sign a User Agreement form which is found on Library computers after users log-in.
The Library has 37 computers located on the 5th floor. Patrons will be allowed access to the internet
on a walk-in basis during regular Library hours. Computer usage time is limited to 3 hours.
Fines:
Books/Magazines/CDs 10 cents/day/item
Movies $2/day/item
Fines must be paid in full to check out Library materials. If there are fines on your account, computer
usage permitted when a minimum of $1 is paid toward the account balance.
