Context of the lesson
This lesson is the first lesson for grade 8 in ICT class. It is about Excel, teach
students about the excel , the basic of it.
Learning outcomes By the end of the class students will be able to
Getting them to know how they can find and use Excel with learn the
basic of it.
Teaching goal
The overall aim of the lesson is to teach students how they can use a tools of
Excel during their work on it.
Learning objectives Students will be able to:
Recognize students how to open the Excel.
Recognize students tools of the Excel.
Recognize students details basic names of home page
Assumptions about prior learning
The learner will be familiar with how to open Excel, know some of the tools they
already use it in other program.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Some learners will find difficult to differentiate tools and basic name of the home
page .. So I will clearly demonstrate the different between them.
Personal focus for this lesson
Using a body language and gestures, and controlling my tone voice.
Care about a levels of students, to know how I arrive for them the information,
and choose the activities.
Make a classroom more interactive to engage students.
Determine a language and the suitable vocabulary to use it.
Avoid misbehavior.
