TIPC Discussion
Perfect tool choices!
The Junior Heroes in Training were:
Beginning individual ppts to introduce themselves to the class. Project requirements stated very clearly-- listed
by slide.
Brock demonstrated his process. Next, Thomas demonstrated another way to insert a picture. Katie
demonstrated a third way. You asked neighbors to demonstrate the process for each other. A great way for
students to collaborate and learn alternate ways to achieve the same goal.
Additional Super Powers for your Utility Belt:
Does your projector always project yellow?
Where is the rubric posted ? I found the intro sheet in SS but couldn't find the rubric. Will students present ppt
to the class ? What's your plan for presentation day, ex. Audience, presentation details, etc.
Consider adding more program features to the project, ex. Slide transition, background color, use of different
fonts. Did you show them an example to get ideas?

You saved the day when

You allowed Brock to use your computer, project the image and explain the steps he is following to insert a pic
in a ppt. Great way to engage students and watch a peer !
Thanks for lowering your volume! Your volume dictates student volume also-- a much different class visit
today!
