Configurarea reelei wireless

Poziionarea ruterului
Pentru transmisia optim a semnalului fr fir ntre ruterul fr fir
i dispozitivele de reea conectate la acesta, asigurai-v c:
 Aezai ruterul fr fir ntr-o zon central pentru o acoperire
fr fir maxim pentru dispozitivele de reea.
Ferii dispozitivul de obstacole de metal i de lumina direct a
soarelui.
Ferii dispozitivul de dispozitive Wi-Fi numai de 802.11g sau 20
MHz, echipamente periferice de 2,4 GHz, dispozitive Bluetooth,
telefoane fr fir, transformatoare, motoare de mare putere,
lumini fluorescente, cuptoare cu microunde, frigidere i alte
echipamente industriale pentru a preveni interferenele sau
pierderea semnalului.
Pentru o acoperire optim din fa n spate, aezai ruterul fr
fir n poziie vertical.
Pentru o acoperire optim de sus pn jos, aezai ruterul fr
fir n poziie nclinat.
Actualizai ntotdeauna la cel mai recent firmware. Vizitai siteul Web ASUS la adresa http://www.asus.com pentru a obine
cele mai recente actualizri de firmware.

De ce avei nevoie
Pentru a v configura reeaua, avei nevoie de unul sau de dou
computere care s ntruneasc urmtoarele cerine de sistem:
Port Ethernet RJ-45 (LAN) (10Base-T/100Base-TX)
Capabilitate wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n
Un serviciu TCP/IP instalat
Browser de Web, ca de exemplu Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari
sau Google Chrome
n cazul n care computerul dvs. nu dispune de capabiliti
ncorporate de wireless, putei instala un adaptor WLAN IEEE
802.11b/g/n n computerul dvs. pentru a v conecta la reea.
Cablurile Ethernet RJ-45 care vor fi utilizate pentru conectarea
dispozitivelor de reea nu trebuie s depeasc 100 de metri.

Instalarea routerului
Utilizai conexiunea cu fir pentru setarea ruterului wireless
pentru a evita eventualele probleme de configurare datorate
unei conexiuni wireless nesigure.
nainte de a configura ruterul fr fir ASUS, efectuai
urmtoarele aciuni:
Dac nlocuii un ruter existent, deconectai-l de la reea.
Deconectai cablurile/firele de la instalaia de modem
existent. Dac modemul dispune de o baterie de rezerv,
scoatei-o i pe aceasta.
Repornii computerul (recomandat).

Conexiune cu fir
Routerul dvs. wireless accept cabluri directe sau inversate
atunci cnd dorii s configurai o reea prin cablu.

Pentru a configura o reea utiliznd conexiuni prin cablu:


1. Inserai adaptorul de c.a. al ruterului fr fir n portul de intrare
c.c. i conectai-l la o priz.
2. Utiliznd cablul de reea inclus, conectai computerul la portul
LAN al ruterului fr fir.

Asigurai-v c LED-ul LAN ilumineaz intermitent.

3 Utiliznd un alt cablu de reea, conectai modemul la portul


WAN al ruterului fr fir.
4. Inserai adaptorul de c.a. al modemului n portul de intrare c.c.
i conectai-l la o priz.

Conexiune wireless
Pentru a configura o reea wireless:
1. Inserai adaptorul de c.a. al ruterului fr fir n portul de intrare
c.c. i conectai-l la o priz.
2 Utiliznd cablul de reea inclus, conectai modemul la portul
WAN al ruterului fr fir.
3. Insert your modems AC adapter to the DC-In port and plug it
to a power outlet.
4. Instalai un adaptor WLAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n pe computer.
Pentru detalii referitoare la o reea wireless, consultai
manualul de utilizare al adaptorului WLAN.
Pentru a configura setrile de securitate pentru reeaua dvs.,
consultai capitolul Configurarea setrilor de securitate
pentru reeaua wireless din acest manual de utilizare.

nainte de a ncepe
nainte de a configura routerul wireless, aplicai etapele descrise
n aceast seciune pentru fiecare computer din reea, pentru a
evita problemele de conectare la reeaua wireless.

A. Dezactivai serverul proxy, dac este activat.

Configurarea prin GUI web

Conectarea la interfaa Web GUI


Routerul dvs. wireless ASUS utilizeaz o interfa de utilizare
bazat pe web, care v permite s configurai routerul utiliznd
orice browser web, precum Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox,
Apple Safari, sau Google Chrome.
Pentru a v conecta la interfaa Web GUI:
1. Lansai browserul web i introducei manual adresa IP implicit
a routerului wireless: 192.168.1.1
2. Pe pagina de acces, tastai numele iniial al utilizatorului
(admin) i parola (admin).

Configurarea conexiunii la Internet


Cnd setai conexiunea la Internet pentru prima dat, apsai
pe butonul Reset (Reiniializare) de pe ruterul fr fir pentru a-l
reiniializa la setrile implicite din fabric.

Configurarea rapid a conexiunii la Internet (QIS) cu


detectare automat
Funcia Quick Internet Setup (QIS Configurare rapid Internet) v
ghideaz pentru setarea rapid a conexiunii la Internet.
Pentru a utiliza QIS cu detectare automat:
1. Lansai un browser de Web, ca de exemplu Internet Explorer,
Moxilla, Firefox, Apple Safari sau Google Chrome.
2. Utilitarul Quick Internet Setup (Configurare rapid internet) va
fi lansat n mod automat. Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul).

Dac funcia QIS nu a reuit s se lanseze automat, lansai


manual interfaa grafic Web a ruterului fr fir pentru a
accesa pagina QIS. Pentru a realiza acest lucru urmai aceti
pai:
1. n browserul Web, introducei adresa http://192.168.1.1
2. Pe pagina de login, introducei numele de utilizator implicit
admin i parola admin.
3. Facei clic pe Quick Internet Setup (Configurare rapid
internet) n panoul de navigare.

3. Introducei o nou parol de administrator pentru a preveni


accesul neautorizat la router. Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul).

4. Selectai Wireless router mode (Mod router wireless), Repeater


mode (Mod repetator) sau Access Point (AP) (Mod punct de
acces PA). Facei clic pe Next (Urmtorul).
Pentru a configura o reea wireless cu acces la internet, utilizai
Wireless router mode (Modul router wireless).

5. Routerul wireless va ncerca s identifice tipul de conexiune.


Dac este necesar, selectai tipul conexiunii i introducei orice
informaii care sunt solicitate, precum numele de utilizator i
parola alocate de ctre furnizorul dvs. de servicii internet.

Putei s obinei informaiile necesare despre tipul conexiunii


dvs. la internet i orice alte informaii de conectare suplimentare
de la furnizorul dvs. de servicii internet.
Detectarea automat a tipului de conexiune are loc cnd
configura routerul wireless pentru prima dat sau cnd
routerul dvs. wireless este resetat la valorile implicite.
Dac QIS nu a putut detecta tipul conexiunii la internet, facei
clic pe Skip to manual setting (Trecere la setarea manual)
i configurai manual setrile conexiunii.

8. n ecranul Wireless Setting (Setare wireless), introducei


un nou nume pentru reea (SSID) i alocai o cheie de
securitate pentru conexiunea dvs. wireless. Facei clic pe Apply
(Aplicare).

9. Va fi afiat un sumar al setrilor dvs. de reea. Facei clic pe Next


(Urmtorul) pentru continuare.

10. Citii asistentul de instruire pentru conexiunea la reea


fr fir. Cnd ai terminat, facei clic pe Finish (Terminare).

Configurarea setrilor de securitate pentru


reeaua wireless
Pentru a v proteja reeaua wireless mpotriva accesului
neautorizat, este necesar s configurai setrile de securitate.
Pentru a configura setrile de securitate pentru reeaua
wireless:
1. Tastai 192.168.1.1 n browserul de Web.
2. n ecranul de conectare tastai numele de utilizator (admin)
i parola (admin) implicite, apoi facei clic pe OK. Se lanseaz
interfaa Web GUI a ruterului wireless.
3. n ecranul Network Map (Hart reea), zona System Status
(Stare sistem) afieaz metoda de autentificare SSID (Service
Set Identifier (identificator set servicii)) i setrile cheii de
securitate pentru reeaua dvs. wireless.

4. n cmpul Wireless name (SSID) (Nume reea wireless (SSID))


tastai un nume unic pentru reeaua dvs. wireless.
5. Din lista vertical Authentication Method (Metod de
autentificare), selectai metoda de criptare pentru reeaua dvs.
wireless.
Standardul IEEE 802.11n interzice utilizarea unei rate mari de
transfer cu WEP sau WPA-TKP ca i cifru unicast. n cazul n care
utilizai aceste metode de criptare, rata de date va scdea la o
conexiune IEEE 802.11g de 54 Mbps.

6. Tastai cheia de acces de securitate.


7. Facei clic pe Apply (Aplicare).

Reglarea puterii Tx (numai pentru modelul RTN12 HP)


Ajustarea puterii Tx face referire la puterea (n mW) necesar
pentru alimenta semnalul radio emis de ctre routerul wireless.
Routerul RT-N12 HP accept o putere maxim de transmitere de
200 mW.
Pentru a ajusta puterea TX:
1. Facei clic pe Wireless n panoul de navigare.
2. Facei clic pe fila Professional (Profesional).
3. n zona Tx Power adjustment (Ajustare putere Tx)
introducei o valoare ntre 0 i 200 mW.

Mrirea valorii pentru puterea Tx poate afecta stabilitatea reelei


wireless i durata de via a routerului wireless.

Administrarea clienilor din reea


Configurarea unei reele pentru oaspei ofer o conectivitate
wireless la internet pentru vizitatori, restricionnd n acelai timp
accesul la reeaua dvs. privat.
Pentru a administra clienii din reea:
1. Facei clic pe Guest Network (Reea oaspei) n panoul de
navigare.
2. Facei clic pe Enable (Activare).

3. Pentru a configura mai multe opiuni, facei clic pe oricare din


elementele enumerate.

4. Alocai un nume pentru reeaua dvs. wireless temporar n


cmpul Network Name (SSID) (Nume reea (SSID)).
5. Selectai o metod de autentificare.
6. Selectai o metod de criptare WEP.
7. Specificai timpul de acces sau facei clic pe opiunea
Limitless (Fr limit).
8. Selectai Disable (Dezactivare) sau Enable (Activare) pentru
elementul Acces Intranet (Accesare intranet).
9. Facei clic pe Apply (Aplicare).

Utilizarea funciei Traffic Manager (Manager


trafic)
Gestionarea limii de band pentru funcia QoS
(Calitatea serviciului)
Funcia QoS (Quality of Service Calitatea serviciului) v
permite s setai prioritatea de lime de band i s gestionai
traficul n reea.
Pentru a configura QoS:
1. Facei clic pe Traffic Manager (Manager trafic) din panoul de
navigare i apoi facei clic p fila QoS.
2. Facei clic pe ON (Pornit) pentru a activa QoS.
3. Facei clic pe Save (Salvare).

Informaiile cu privire la limea de band de care dispunei pot


fi obinute de la furnizorul dvs. de servicii internet.

4. Dac dorii s acordai prioritate anumitor aplicaii i servicii n


reea, facei clic pe User-defined Priority (Prioritate definit
de utilizator) n colul din dreapta sus.
5. Ajustai valorile dup cum este necesar. Facei clic pe Apply
(Aplicare).

Monitorizarea traficului
Facei clic pe fila Traffic Monitor (Monitor trafic) pentru a
vizualiza informaii n timp real sau istorice referitoare limea de
band a conexiunilor internet prin cablu i wireless.

Configurarea setrilor Complexe


Configurarea serverului DHCP
Routerul dvs. wireless utilizeaz protocolul DHCP pentru a aloca
adrese IP automat n reeaua dvs. Putei specifica intervalul de
adrese IP i durata de alocare a acestor adrese pentru clienii din
reeaua dvs.
Pentru a configura serverul DHCP:
1. Facei clic pe LAN n panoul de navigare.
2. Facei clic pe fila DHCP Server (Server DHCP).

3. n cmpul Enable the DHCP Server? (Activai serverul


DHCP?) bifai Yes (Da).
4. n cmpul IP Pool Starting Address (Plaj adres IP de
pornire), tastai adresa IP de pornire.
5. n cmpul IP Pool Ending Address (Plaj adres IP de sfrit),
tastai adresa IP de sfrit.

6. n cmpul Lease Time (Perioad de nchiriere) tastai data


la care expir adresele IP i ruterul wireless va aloca automat
adrese IP noi pentru clienii reelei.
ASUS recomand utilizarea unui format de adres de tipul
192.168.1.xxx (unde xxx poate fi un numr cuprins ntre 2 i
254) atunci cnd specificai un interval de adrese IP.
Plaja de adrese IP de pornire nu trebuie s fie mai mare dect
plaja de adrese IP de sfrit.

Actualizarea softului integrat


Descrcai ultimul soft integrat de pe pagina web a ASUS la:
http://support.asus.com

Pentru actualizarea softului integrat:


1. Facei clic pe Administration (Administrare) n panoul de
navigare.
2. Facei clic pe fila Firmware Upgrade (Actualizare Soft
Integrat).
3. n campul New Firmware File (Fiier Nou Soft Integrat), facei
click pe Browse (Rsfoii) pentru a localiza noul soft integrat
pe computerul dvs.
4. Facei click pe Upload (ncrcare).

Dac procesul de actualizare eueaz, routerul va intra automat


n modul de urgen sau de defeciune i indicatorul LED
de curent de pe partea frontal plpie lent. Pentru a reface

Refacerea/Salvarea/ncrcarea setrilor
Pentru a reface/salva/ncrca setrile:
1. Facei clic pe Administration (Administrare) n panoul de
navigare.
2. Facei clic pe fila Restore/Save/Upload Setting (Restaurare/
Salvare/ncrcare setare).

Selectai sarcina pe care dorii s-o ndeplinii:
Pentru a reface setrile iniiale din fabric, facei click pe
Restore (Refacere) apoi click OK n mesajul de confirmare.
Pentru a salva setrile prezente ale sistemului, click Save
(Salveaz) i click pe Save (Salveaz) n fereastra fiierului
de ncrcare, pentru a salva fiierul sistemului pe ruta
preferat.
Pentru a reface setarea sistemului anterior, click Browse
(Rsfoiete) pentru a localiza fiierul sistemului pe care

Detectarea Dispozitivului este o utilitar ASUS WLAN ce
detecteaz dispozitivul Router ASUS i permite s configurai

Pentru a lansa utilitara Detecteaz Dispozitivul


De pe desktopul computerului dvs click Start > All programs
(Toate Programele) > ASUS Utility (Utilitar ASUS) >
Router fr cablu RT-N12 > Device Discovery (Detectare

Atunci cnd setai ruterul la modul Access Point (Punct


de acces), trebuie s utilizai utilitarul Device Discovery
(Descoperire dispozitiv) pentru a obine adresa IP a ruterului.

Refacerea softului integrat


Utilitarul Firmware Restoration (Restaurare firmware) poate
fi utilizat pentru un router wireless ASUS dup euarea unei
actualizri firmware. Acest utilitar ncarc un fiier firmware n
routerul wireless. Procesul dureaz aproximativ trei pn la patru
minute.
Lansai modul de salvare nainte de a utiliza utilitarul Firmware
Restoration (Restabilire firmware).

Routerele din seria RT-N12 accept serviciul DDNS de la ASUS.
