Classroom Expectations & Policies

Course Description

My Expectations from YOU

Continuing with the Spanish 1 concepts

learned in the Fall with Sra. Yetman,
students will work to increase their
growing Spanish vocabulary in all aspects
of speech including talking about
themselves, others, situations involving
interaction, questioning, and explaining.
Basic grammatical concepts such as tenses
and simple conjugations will be addressed
along with scheduled dialogues with class
peers. Language can't be acquired without
speech and repetition, which is quite
simply practice for your brain. Students
will find it easy to be engaged in my
classroom so I want them to expect
Spanish learning disguised in fun and
bacon.

Learning is a two way street. If I am

ready to put in 100% into teaching
everyday then I expect the same effort
and engagement from you as well. Some
things that will contribute to your overall
effort and eventual success are:

>

The Skinny on Me (Your teacher)

My name is Andre Perrault. I am
originally from Miami, Florida and have
lived here in Tucson for the past seven
years. I graduated from the University of
Arizona (Go Wildcats!) with my
Bachelor's in Spanish Literature and
shortly after began my pursuit for
secondary education teacher certification
which is how I landed in this Teach
Arizona program student teaching with
you all today. I love golf, music,
athletics, foreign languages, and movies.
Feel free to ask me about anything. I am
looking forward to a very fun and
successful semester with you all and
personally welcome you to the second
half of the course.
