Content Summary
Present Perfect Tense
The present perfect tense expresses the idea that something happened (or never happened)
before now, at an unspecified time in the past. The exact time it happened is not important. If
there is a specific mention of time simple past is used.
The present perfect also expresses repetition of an activity before now, the exact time of
repetition is not important.

Object

The subject is usually a noun--a word (or phrase) that names a person,
place, or thing.
Helping verbs are verbs that, as their name suggests, help the main verb
in a sentence by extending the meaning of the verb. They add detail to
how time is conveyed in a sentence. As a result, helping verbs are used
to create the most complicated verb tenses in English: the progressive
and the perfect aspects.
show action and answer the question, "What does the subject do?"
In addition to serving as subjects, nouns may also function as objects in
sentences. Instead of performing the action, as subjects usually do,
objects receive the action and usually follow the verb.

The formula through which these sentences can be constructed is as follows:

Subject + Helping verb (has or have) + Verb (3rd form) + Object
Has is used with Singular subjects i.e. He or She.
Have is used with Plural Subject i.e. they or we.
