Water Guns or Real Guns
Water guns or real guns. A school in New york let their students play a game called
Killer. Killer a game kinda like COD call of duty or other simulated violence game that
involves massive amounts of thinking and teamwork. Although, people say these games promote
bad behavior there is no evidence that this is true and theres no way to overrule it, Role playing
video games with simulated violence are diverting for teens, because the game is played to
relieve stress and played outside of school or other things that have to be done, kids learn how to
protect themselves and they get better at working as a team.
Many parents say that simulated violence video games promote bad behavior in their
kids. These games do not change the kids thought or behavior in anyway. Theres no fact that
shows that video games or games like these change society. I know kids and adults that over play
these games and are still really successful in life. The kid in our story asked the judge if he could
use the squirty fish. I had to get special permission from the judge for the squirt fish, Because I
didn't want to take my gun anywhere near an EL AL counter. (Martin) The kid is also thinking
before he makes his move. Its just a fun game to take their minds off their normal life.
My first reason is that these entertaining games are played for fun. To play with friends
and family, or sometimes alone. These games can also take criminals off the streets. As a quote in
(TechHive) Violent video games may stop crime by keeping these criminals inside. These
games are also played outside of school or work. So all these games do is entertain the tired brain

from a hard day. Theres no fact that these video games change the society, and it will never be
proven.
My second reason is that it increases your skills of working in a group and helps your
communication skills. They could sit down has an organized faction and set up suggestions and
strategy to get kills and plot out hiding spots and safe spots. By the end of the tournament they're
usually great friends because they had to learn to trust each other. People also say that people
communicate actual killings and video games and could get ideas her. But that is completely not
true. At 10:30 on a Wednesday, three of the four seniors, armed with Walgreens-issue water
pistols, staked out Cohens house in a blue Toyota minivan.(Martin) This was a planned kill by
one of the teams. And throughout the tournament they have to talk and they always have to be on
the right page as the rest of their team. Thats just means that this will increase their ability to
work has a team and to help others.
Lasty, this game teaches the kids how to protect themselves. During this game kids will
be everywhere, all loaded up and, ready to fire. Playing games like this will teach kids ways to
spot out bad people, and teach them to fight those people. And when they are in trouble and have
to spend nights out side because they can't get home. In the late innings of Killer season, Some
kids occasionally sleep in the deeper recesses of St. Anns Itself. (Martin)It is true these games
show people how to kill, But this isnt a bad generation of teens. Actually since 2008 crime rate
has dropped 12.9% according to the CIA statistics.(Do Games Like Grand Theft Auto V
Cause Real-World Violence?) This is a huge reason because if you know more about protecting
your self then the outside world you'll be fine but then again these kids aren't killing or hurting
anyone. And these video games do provide that source. Kids can get lazy but playing games like
these you always have to be ready for anything thats coming at you.

With games like these, can come a whole lot of fear and anxiety. Some people think that
violent video games lead to killing kids, which will lead to more gangs and killings. However the
vast majority of kids that play video games are totally normal and really are good kids. Yes some
of the killers in recent time might be playing these games, but the other million of people that do
are fine. Of Course some people have to do what they have to do. But taking these really fun and
interesting games away from everyone is unfair. You cant blame things like war or other terrorist
attacks on a video game. These video games to some people are like there other life outside of
school, and taking away these wonderful games isnt going to solve anything.
