Cross Feeder

Phenomena :
1. No Alarm on BTS.
2. High HOSR Drop rate since neighbor cell setting got problem.
Impact :
1. High HOSR Drop rate since neighbor cell setting got problem.
2. Coverage of BTS will be shrinking.
Proposal and trouble shoot steps :
1. DT result, from this data we can find which sector cross to which sector
2. Check MRFU-feeder-antenna whether in correct sector
3. Check CPRI cable, from BBU to RXU board
4. Check Antenna Azimuth and Tilting
Suggestion :
1. Double check MRFU-Feeder-Antenna installation
2. Need to label connector/feeder/CPRI before swap
3. After Swap, need team to make test call sector by sector by locking frequency
4. Need DT team to do fast response after swap

VSWR
Phenomena :
1. Have RF Unit VSWR Threshold Crossed
2. VSWR Level 1 Treshold = 2, Level 2 Treshold = 3
Impact :
1. Signal Quality reduce when have VSWR level 1, TRX will faulty when have VSWR
level 2
2. For 1 cell using 1 board MRFU with 2 double feeder configuration, if the 2 nd jumper
have VSWR, then this cell will experience low Diversity problem
Proposal and trouble shoot steps :
1. Do remote check when alarm appear, if alarm true, do troubleshoot onsite. Some
time after reset board then VSWR OK.

2. Check from Site Master the value of related system that generates alarm, check
the DTF to know the distance fault

3. Replace/repair the corresponding part fault

4. In rare case, found out the RF unit faulty, after check from Site Master on site
VSWR is OK, in this case replace RF unit.
Suggestion :
1. Make sure to isolated the connector part in outdoor to prevent leakage that can
cause VSWR, specially when rain.
2. Make sure the connection between jumper/feeder are tighten.

Link flicker, High BER

Phenomena :
1. Have E1/T1 Excessive Bit Error Rate alarm
Impact :
1. Some Radio Signalink Link disconnect
2. Some PDTCH faulty

Proposal and trouble shoot steps :

1. Check E1 connection
2. Check the E1 quality whether have error counting

3. Repair cross connection in port DDF that generates alarm

Suggestion :
1. Make sure to cross connect the E1 properly
