I chose the Domestic and Foreign Policy assignment to reflect on because it was a subject
that was not a better understanding of. Despite it being somewhat of a challenge to fully
understand my topic of safety net programs, it helped me acknowledge more of the issues going
on in the world and that these programs aid the citizens. Generally this assignment improved on
my research skills on searching for good articles to support my claims and ideas. In doing this
assignment it leaves off bits of information about the certain topic and even though I would not
retain all of it it would surely be a good use in future related classes. Some things I would change
about doing this assignment is to evaluate more on the key points. Also, to maybe spend more
time on this assignees because it was done in a short time frame. A few goals I have in mind for
future assignments is to spend more time on it, make sure to provide all the key points on doing a
summary, and overall just give my full effort on them. By doing so, it would greatly help and
improve my skills on not struggling on assignments and better time management. Some things
outside of class that would help on my next projects is to complete other tasks from different
classes, making sure I am energized weekly to complete the work, managing my time, and not
procrastinate. This assignment helped me study by providing similar information relating to my
other classes context and doing these summaries of a section help break off key points to easily
understand the full topic.
