I have learned how to use Weebly to create my own online portfolio which will showcase
my experience and progress throughout this course. Besides from learning Weebly, this course
has taught a lot of different ways and knowledge about general speech and argumentation. For tis
assignment in particular, I improved on the use of Weebly. These online websites to create web
pages are somewhat new to me and at first was hard to grasp until how easy it was to use.
Creating this online portfolio was only the first thing that would exhibit my progress and
knowledge.
In relation to developing argumentative skills, I believe I still require more education
towards it because taking this one class alone would not help me absorb such knowledge.
Although, I did get an informative idea of this skill because argumentation is necessary in future
circumstances, career-wise, and to develop better speech skills.
What I did learned a lot from Project 2 is the way to propose a topic and support it with
the argumentative lessons we have learned. For example, developing a debate to either be for or
against the position and provide specific claims and support to make my position clear to the
ideal audience. In a debate there should be a cause, harms, and solutions to make a solid
proposition. I learned to provide all these specifics to form a formal argument about my topic:
Healthcare.

Something I would change about the way I compose and study on the material is by
practicing the lessons outside of the academic environment. I would try to use the knowledge in
the outside world and improve on it myself than to limit the use of it in school. Speech as a skill
will carry through to the world and I think it is important to me to gain as much knowledge in
school and outside of it. Although, there is much more to learn about argumentation, persuasion,
proposition, etc., it is best for me to know at least some of it to be familiar with the areas.
