    No Shift-Sets Code 1781
    A complaint of Code 1781 (Overdrive Pressure Sense Switch Circuit Fault), may occur due to a worn
    checkball in the valve body. The code/complaint may be intermittent, and will go into Limp-Mode
    when the code is set. The code is commonly set during start-off in 1st gear. Inspect the checkball
    closely as they are know to wear and may not be the correct size or ROUND shape.

    This check ball may not


    be round due to wear.
