For the second Creativity, I would like to continue the piano lesson that Ive had for a long time. The teacher herself,
Sri Thehamihardja, will supervise this. Since this is a private lesson, the teacher will come to my house every
Thursday and have 2 hours of piano lesson. From this lesson, Im able to learn to listen and play notes to a song, read
notes, and etc.
Learning Outcomes:
Increased awareness of strengths and areas of growth
I am aware that in IB, it doesnt offer music subject. I would like to widen my knowledge towards music. By
obtaining knowledge about music, it would increase my appreciation towards music. Not only that, but I will
also learn new knowledge about a subject that Im not familiar with. This will then improve the skills that I
own. It is also said that music can trigger our intelligence.

Undertaken new challenges

In the past, I have been having piano lessons constantly every week on Thursday, this can be made into my
Creativity because I have taken the challenge to stay committed to a knowledge that I chose to pursue. This
will then improve my knowledge towards music from the past ones. Since now Im in DP, it is another
challenge to stay committed every week. In DP I would have a lot more projects and homework, though
through this CAS it can define if Im good in managing my time or not.

Perseverance and commitment in activities

As I stated above, in DP I would have a lot more tasks that I have to complete in given time. This means that I
would have to manage my time wisely. Through this CAS, it would define if I were a good time manager or
not. This would also be a challenge to show if I can commit to something that I have chose to do. Im
planning on doing the lesson every week on Thursdays for 2 hours/meeting.

Considered ethical composition

From this lesson I would be able to gain new knowledge about the music world. With the knowledge that I
would obtain from this lesson, it will increase my awareness ethically. For example, when I listen to music, I
would be able to focus on the composition of notes and how it helps deliver the message that the author want
to send. With this knowledge, I would be able to share it to those that are interested on this subject.

Developed new skills

Even through I have been taking piano lesson for a long time now, I believe that through this CAS, it will help
develop new skills about music. Therefore, I would be able to use and apply music in my daily life, as a media
to help me in my studies and etc.
