Shakespeare Webquest Mr. Hakim
The purpose of the assignment is to gain background information regarding
Shakespeare and his time period. Another purpose is to learn and organize
expository information through secondary research.
Directions:
Your task is to answer all the questions using the links provided. Be sure you answer all
parts of the question. You do not have to write complete sentences. Your answers need
to be on a separate MS Word document. Make sure you number your answer sheet
appropriately, and give headers.

About Shakespeare
Go to the file entitled Shakespeares Timeline. It is on the portal. Answer the following
questions.

1. Go to Birth & Early Years. William Shakespeare was born in what year?

They were an important in the farming business and was a market town.

Betrothal was the old term for engagement.

The woman takes the name of the man for marriage. You can break a
betrothal if someone has been seriously disfigured.

It can be any fashionable color and not expected to wear white.
