Prepared lesson plans and exams based on Ghana Education Service curriculum, and adapted those
lessons for students with multiple disabilities.
Planned and co-facilitated the Leadership Camp for the Deaf
Planned, funded, and implemented an HIV Awareness Competition which educated 85 deaf JHS
students about the dangers of HIV and how to prevent it
Planned, funded, and implemented an HIV Poster Contest and related HIV/AIDS educational sessions,
involving 85 JHS students who subsequently increased their knowledge about the risks of HIV
Represented Peace Corps Volunteers at a national HIV Project Advisory Committee meeting
Acted as a Peace Corps Volunteer Trainer for the new group of Peace Corps Ghana Trainees
Trained 12 students in Primary through JHS to compete in the National Deaf Spelling Bee
Successfully funded and established a school poultry farm to improve nutrition for 300 students
Assisted artist in sculpting, pattern finishing, mold-making with resin, and scenic/prop painting
