P2- Demonstrate the use of care values in selected health

and social care contexts.
1. Get into groups of 3 or 4 (no more!) and write your 2 scripts
between you of your Care Value Situation for 2 different
settings.
2. Practice acting out the roll play and learn your lines
3. Use a mobile to record your best performance. If you get stuck
on your lines, use prompts around you.
4. Upload the videos to the PC. Use tools like Movie Maker to
edit and cut your roll play. Remember I need to clearly see the
names of everyone!

Carer- Mrs F and Mrs B are you both feeling a bit humorous today? In fact Mrs B, you
have your clothes on the wrong way! (she says quietly)
Mrs F- Hahahaha Ethel, did you get dressed in the dark this morning! Glasses are the
last of your problems! Ooo wait till I tell Betty and Elsie and
Carer- Mrs F, thats not very kind to shout out. I was quiet so not to offend her. Mrs B
let me help you to your room, to quickly sort this out to prevent you any further

1. Continue with your P1 work from last week. The sheet is on

M1- Discuss the importance of the values that underpin current

practice in health and social care, with reference to selected
examples.

1. Stretch and challenge work. You have to go into further detail and
discuss why values are important. What would happen if we didnt have
them? You must use examples, so try to get news stories of nurses,
teachers who havent used good care values from google news.

 So many of you on target! Some even above!

Your result is now in the bag and yours. You are all (bar
one! Wave Courtney F!) going to sit it again on May 11 th
and your best exam will go towards your final grade.
I am so sorry I am not there today, I am ill, and have
tried all week to get better just for you lot because I
want to share with you how proud I am of all of you! I
will be doing afterschool on Wednesday and Thursday
next week for you.
The grade boundaries were Dist 43 Merit 35 Pass 28
Level1 Pass 21 Fail 20-. Yes, Gemma and Xena, you were
just 1 mark off a Distinction! Such an amazing effort!
You have to remember, you need to do the Merit and
Distinction work on your coursework to keep that overall
grade, so make sure you use your briefs to read the
instructions and carry on, on all 3 units. All briefs are on
the website if you have lost them (Wave Xena!)
