When choosing this resource I thought of Mahvish. I thought that being around
other girls her age and meeting friends would give her the confidence that she
needs, and may then give her family confidence to get more involved with
Mahvish educationally.

for their abilities. The site frequently posts dates for local job and resource fairs.

5. The boys and girls clubs provides children with leadership development and
community involvement opportunities. Each child involved is assigned a mentor
and support, which can be passes onto their family.

6. Atlanta Inner-City Ministry provides support groups for families. By joining these
support groups, it makes hard times more manageable for families, knowing that
others are in, or have been in, the same type of situations that they are in.

7. The Red Cross provides families and schools of Georgia with basic first aid
information, and offers CPR classes.

they cannot afford to obtain otherwise.

11. The Southwest Georgia Council on Aging provides multiple services and
resources to elderly individuals and their families. They provide community
education and outreach services to promote public awareness on elderly abuse.
Services include caregivers, homemakers, and Meals on Wheels. Tristans

12. This non-profit nursing organization offers a wide array of care for the elderly.
The elderly staying at AG Rhodes Health and Rehab can stay long-term, or even
for a short-term while being rehabilitated. The team available for assistance
range from physicians, nurses, therapists, social services, and activity
coordinators.

13. This public transportation system provides reduced or free fare for students K-12,
disabled, and the elderly.

14. Hosea provides groceries for people in need, as well as, financial assistance to
individuals in the Atlanta area. Aside from food and financial assistance, they also
collect school items for children that cannot afford them. This is a great resource
for any family that is in-need of groceries or a little extra help financially!
