Overall Comments:
Ms. DeFilppis has had an excellent second practicum. She continues to be a well-prepared, conscientious, empathetic teacher
who has the best interests of her students at heart. Continue to be the inviting, welcoming person to your students that you are
and continue to hone your craft as enthusiastically as you have in this placement.

Comments:
Ms. DeFilippis had an excellent rapport with her students especially since this was only the second class with them that she
taught. She was positive and enthusiastic yet professional. This lead to a very good comfort level with her students which set the
stage for mutual respect conducive to learning.

Ms. DeFilippis had very good communication skills in her class. She was very clear in her oral and written conventions and her
board work was very good. Continue to work on "wait time" upon questioning your students during the lesson and your follow up
questioning as well. Also, continue to work on speaking more slowly, especially when giving instructions.

Comments:
This is excellent. Ms. DeFilippis has exhibited an excellent knowledge of her subject matter, in this class the topic of Doping and
PED's in sports, in both in her presentation and in her responses to individual questions from the students.

Comments:
Classroom management was very good. At all times, Ms. DeFilippis maintained a friendly, positive and professional disposition.
She utilized non-verbal management techniques, such as good eye contact, very well. Continue to work on your "wait time" after
calling the class to attention vis--vis being more patient after calling them to order.

Comments:
Planning for this lesson was very good. Ms. DeFilippis had well-planned instructional strategies. An excellent variety
of questions were asked in her plan and there was good provision for application for her students to carry out at the
end of the lesson. She ensured that materials were well-prepared and that the activities were appropriate for the
students.

Comments:
The implementation of this lesson was very good. Ms. DeFilippis encouraged participation from all of
her students and her instructions and directions to her students for the activities were excellent. Also excellent was
the sequencing of the lesson and the transitions within the lesson and all of the activities which comprised the plan.
Continue to work on your pacing and timing of your plan so as not to end the class too soon.
