Physical Education
.Year 2 VLC will collaborate with homeroom classes to inquire into the Central Idea: Overtime, the
environment and technology change, this influences how people play. During VLC lessons, the children will
inquire into how Vietnamese games and toys have changed overtime. They will also make some folk toys
using natural materials around them.
*Language focus: Family
The students will learn basic vocabularies related to nuclear family (ba, m, anh, ch, em) and some new sentence
structures to introduce their family members.

The students will inquire into the musical and rhythmic games children have played over the last century. They will practise
'keeping a steady beat' learning old clapping, skipping and hopping games and work cooperatively with their peers as they
travel through time discovering the new digital music games of the 21st century.
