The land of the

unexpected
I highly encourage you.. if you're about to dive into this newsletter make yourself comfortable, it might become
a little lengthy! But if you want the short version, here it is: God did amazing things in East Central
Province of Paupa New Guinea. Through the 10 people on my team miracles, healings, and
salvations were a common event; life long friendships, awakened potentials, completely
unexpected experiences, challenges and an amazing, life changing, and eye opening God encounters
took place. In being the first YWAM team in the province (and in some villages the first missionaries since
the 1930s) we experience many villages who had lost what their relationships with God was supposed to look like
and how to be on fire for Christ. Our team challenged each village on their specific needs and struggles in how
individually and corporately overcome and press into God for their provision, strength, families and education.
Our team visited 1 city (Port Moresby) and 11 villages in total: Gavuone, Marawanone, Dom Mari, Cocoalands,
Dom Block, Marani Mari, Amau, Moreguina, Ianu, Eanawia, and Meitha. For 3.5 weeks we were in these villages
we ministered to 3,950 people, 694 people received prayer, we saw 54 healings, and had 26 people
commit or recommit their lives to Christ. Our team discovered the true meaning of the phrase there is a
face behind every statistic and each of us has come home with amazing stories of how God worked in and
through us and not only were able to bless Paupa New Guinea, but we learned from, were blessed by and
grew a heart for each and every individual we came a crossed! PNG amazed us in generosity and went
above and beyond every meaning of hospitality, welcoming and fair welling us, feeding us, looking after us and
giving all their hearts to us. I was extremely blessed by each village, no matter how big or small, and how their
traditions and cultures are still so alive in each and every one of them! We had many late nights of dancing
and celebration, many meals of their traditional foods, many relationships that will never leave our
hearts. I am so blessed to have led the team that I did, they all engaged in so much their giftings, different
cultures, preaching and sharing testimonies and working together throughout any circumstances! Below I will post
pictures of the people, places, and experiences that we came a crossed! Thank you so much for all your prayers
