COMMENTS: (strengths, areas for growth, next steps):

During his first teaching placement, James has had the opportunity to teach grade 9, 10/11 and grade 12
physical education classes. He has been involved with all of the daily procedures of successfully organizing,
planning, and teaching several different sport and activity based classes. He has effectively gained
experience and teaching practices in the following areas: Interactive games, Volleyball,Lacrosse, crossfit
training, resistance training, health, and community bowling.
James is a very confident teacher who is willing to take on any teaching task with limited or minimal
direction. He is very self motivated and he shows excellent initiative and leadership. It is apparent that
James is a conscientious teacher who has high expectations for himself and his students.
James has been responsible for providing daily lesson plans and he has effectively assessed and
evaluated the students after each unit. Over the past five weeks, he has gained the admiration and respect of
his students and staff members with his enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to learn.
I am confident that James will be a successful and inspirational teacher that will continue to inspire and
motivate his students. James has a genuine interest in the teaching profession and his students. Best of
luck James in your teaching career!
