HONOR POINT SYSTEM
The honor point average (gpa) is computed by multiplying the
honor points assigned to each course grade by the number of credit
hours for each course, adding the results and dividing by the total
number of credit hours.
Undergraduate: A grade point average of 2.00 is required for
graduation.

REPEATED COURSES
Effective Fall 1969, when an undergraduate student repeats a course
the honor points and credit hours are eliminated from all earlier
attempts and these items are counted only for the most recent
attempt provided the student then completes the course with a grade
of A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D- or E. From Winter 1998
forward, repeats are marked with an E (Exclude from the GPA) or I
(Include in the GPA) in the column labeled R (for repeats.) For
courses prior to Winter 1998,
repeats are indicated by a mark of R.
