    ABSTRACT

    Project Title: Municipal Administration System


    Objective/Vision:
    Local bodies are classified into Municipal Corporations, Municipalities of different
    grades and Nagara Panchayats depending upon the population and income of the Urban
    Local Body. These Urban Local Bodies have been constituted with the objective of
    discharging certain.
    Functional Requirements:

    Supply of drinking water.

    Providing and maintaining drainage and sewage systems

    Public street lighting

    Maintaining sanitation and hygiene of public places

    Ensuring systematic/planned urban growth

    Regulation of building construction

    Maintenance of Birth and Death records.

    Non Functional Requirements:

    Secure access of confidential data (users details). SSL can be used.


    High Availability
    Better component design to get better performance at peak time
    Flexible service based architecture will be highly desirable for future extension
    Use of AJAX wherever applicable
    Customizable color scheme or skins
