Explanation: The ratio from swim to bike is 2 : 5 because the ratio for the swim to
bike is representing how many minutes they spent on swimming and biking. The
ratio of run to bike is 4 : 5 because the ratio for the run to bike represents how
much time they spent practicing for the sport. The ratio of swim to run is 1 : 2 and
that is the minutes they spent for swimming and running. The ratio from the run
to bike is 4 : 5 and that is the ratio of minutes they did to go running and biking.
The ratio from the swim to bike is 2 : 5 because that is how many minutes they
went swimming and biking. We simplified the
proportion
of the minutes. We got
the
unit rate
by simplifying all the numbers.

Explanation:
I will practice swimming and running first because it
takes the least amount of time compared to the other sports. Monday
and Friday are the same sports and the same time.
Part C:
Monday, Friday(Swim, Bike)
Wednesday(Swim, Run)
Explanation:
The ratio in this data compare because on Monday and
Friday they are the same things. They are the same exercises. One
tuesday and thursday they are the same exercises which are running
and biking. For wednesday there are 2 exercises which is swimming and
running and we are only going to do these exercises for one day.
Part D:
Sport
Average speed
Original Speed
Average time
Bike
25 miles
75 minutes
Running
6 miles
60 minutes
Swimming
1 mile
30 minutes
Explanation:
To find the average speed for biking I would divide 75
and 60 and it equals 1.25 and I know that the original speed is 25 so 25
divided by 1.25 equals 20. Then to find the average speed for swimming I
would multiply 1 mile by 2 and 30 by 2 to get 2/60. The average speed is
2 miles per hour.
