Get students into groups of 8/ 9

depending on numbers. (Ensure
this is done prior to the lesson to
cater for the diversity in the
learners.) In a class of 32 there
should be 4 groups
Assign each student a role.
Once each student has a role, they
will then group up together with all
the other students with the same
role. i.e. umpires will form a group,
scorers will form a group etc.
Each group will need to ensure that
there is at least one laptop or
computer and one ipad (More
would be better if it is possible.)
Firstly students will thoroughly go
through the teachers page to
research their roles, what
applications they will be using and
how they will implement it into the
tournament.
Ensure students take notes on how
to use the application.
Conclusion
After 20 minutes, students will go
back to their original groups and
share their findings.
Tell the students that next weeks
lesson will be based on the
structure of the tournament.
