Womens Educational Rights
Although it does not seem like that big of a problem, men and woman still dont have
equal educational rights. Education should be the same learning for both men and woman. Also
woman all around the world should get equal learning abilities. Some men get more privileges to
learn than women. Woman should also be represented in business education, not many are
recognized for it. Women and men should have equal rights for all education worldwide, they
should be recognized for their education/engineering in business, and they should be able to have
equal education all around the world.
Many women still struggle today to get the same amount of education as all men. Women and

girls continue to face discrimination at all levels of education, a fact which poses tremendous
obstacles to their advancement (The Peoples Movement for Human Rights Education). Even today
the rights between men and women are still not equal. Men are more likely to become successful
in the business field than women. This is not because men are smarter than women, its
because of discrimination. We are very fortunate that the United States does not have as strong of
a discrimination as other countries do, but that doesnt mean that it doesnt still exist here.
Women have disadvantages in the business/engineering fields. Women held only 18% of
managerial and administrative positions in the United States in 1972, by 2002 that percentage
had increased to 46% (Eagly 3). According to this statement the rates have gone up and that is
very good. But on the other hand womens rights in that field are still not equal with mens. The

woman dont get as much pay, some people cheat them. Men get the right amount that they
should be paid, but women get cheated. In most businesses this is not true but there are still a
good amount out there who do cheat women with the pay, woman just want equal rights with
everything that men have.
In the United States we are very fortunate to not have this problem as much. In other
countries this is a bigger problem. Over the years this problem has gotten a lot better, from 1972
to 2002 the percentage went up 28%. Many people dont think that this is a problem today in our
century. But the problem still exists. It is unfair and inhumane.
All around the world women get treated differently than men. Education is one big
difference. In third war countries, men get education rights first, if they dont have enough
money, above women. Woman are expected to stay at home and work around the house, cook,
and clean. Men and women are equal, and they should be treated that way.
