I. Unit Overview
In this six-week unit, my second grade class will be studying the U.S. Constitution, the role of the President and the
early presidents, and the election and voting process. The unit will provide students with context to understand the
U.S. presidential election in November. The follow table lists the topics and objectives covered over the six-week
period.
