Younique Cosmetic Surgery Center (2013)
Completed a three-month surgical nursing internship. Duties included shadowing and
assisting a Board-Certified Cosmetic Surgeon and surgical nurse, during various surgical
procedures: stem cell transplantation, cosmetic augmentation, and pain relief. Performed
chart preparation and maintenance via in-house medical cosmetic charting program.
Napa State Psychiatric Hospital (2010 2011)

Clinical internship via UC Berkeleys Field Study Program. Focused on interacting with
residents in a medium security, inpatient forensic hospital. Leveraged a recovery model of
treatment using bio-psychosocial rehabilitation principles. Worked with staff to review
patient history and current therapies, actively engaged with over 30 patients in various
supervised social, entertainment, and educational activities.
