Lindsay worked from 2006-2009 as a Spanish Teacher at Messmer Preparatory Catholic School (MPCS), a K4-8 elementary school in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. As Principal of MPCS, | supervised Lindsay for two years, and observed her to be an effective Spanish teacher, Lindsay had especially impressed me with her ability to differentiate. In her role, she taught a variety of ages, grade levels and abilities. Lindsay demonstrated a real strength in terms of her rapport with our students, and it had a notable impact on student foreign language acquisition. Lindsay also participated from 2008-2007 in the Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Program, a year-long service commitment and AmeriCorps partner program Lindsay lived in community, and began her service to Messmer Catholic Schools as a Cap Corps Volunteer.
