Just because it has been seven years since the release of J.K.
Rowlings last Harry Potter book,
and three years since the release of
the last film adaptation, does not
mean that Harry Potter fever is
over. Quite the opposite actually, if
the new Harry Potter-themed hotel
rooms in London are any indication.
This week, the Georgian House
Hotel has publicized two rooms
that have been styled after Hogwarts sleeping quarters. Called the
Wizard Chambers, the rooms
feature four-poster beds, trunks
emblazoned with Harry Potters
initials, cauldrons, candles, potion
bottles, and assorted gothic touches
that evoke the Hogwarts spirit.
One nights stay for two inside
the Wizard Chambers will cost
approximately $340. If guests
wish to add on breakfast, a special

to the Warner Bros. Studio-for a
Making of Harry Potter tourthe price jumps to about $585 per
night.
A spokeswoman for the hotel told The Independent why it
revamped two rooms to fit the
J.K. Rowling franchises theme. I
had heard that the Harry Potter
studio tour was the most popular
attraction in London, Serena von
der Heyde, partner at the Georgian
House, said. And the fact the bus
left from Victoria station meant
we were in the perfect location for
attracting tourists who had come to
see the studio.
The hotel is currently booking
the Harry Potterthemed rooms
into December 2015. But you may
want to act quickly.

Harry Potter Actors to Appear at Universal

Orlando

From a very young age I fell in

love with the Harry Potter universe.
The Harry Potter books were the
first series of books that I was
completely immersed in. I was so
intruiged by the idea of magic and
going off to a special school for
witches and wizards. I even remember thinking that I would get my
very own Hogwarts letter and be
whisked away to the magical castle.
I had never read a book that had
so many characters I could identify
with. I especially felt like Hermione

was a mirror image of myself at the

age of 11, and it was very easy to
imagine myself in her shoes.
It is my love of the Harry Potter universe that has inspired me
to write this newsletter. For all of
the die-hard Harry Potter fans like
myself, I hope that I can inspire the
sense of wonder and awe that I felt
when I first read the series throughout these pages. To stay updated
on all things related to the Harry
Potter universe, this newsletter will
inform and delight any Harry Potter
fan about current HP news. I hope
you enjoy!

Gambon, James Phelps, Oliver

the resort has announced.

Making of Harry Potter

What Daniel Radcliffe

May Never Wear Again

The Making of Harry Potter announced that they will be bringing

back its popular Hogwarts in the
Snow feature this coming season.
Visitors will get the chance to see
the castles festive makeover, as well
as the iconic Great Hall decorated
for Christmas, from November
14th to February 1st.
The Great Hall will be decorated
with the original props seen during
the Christmas feast in Harry Potter
and the Philosophers Stone.
Visitors will see the hand-knitted
jumpers that Molly Weasley gave
Ron and Harry for Christmas in
the first movie. Other costumes
on display will include one of the
first Christmas presents Harry ever
received at Hogwarts, his Invisibility Cloak, and the dress Luna
Lovegood wore to the Slug Club
Christmas party in Harry Potter
and the Half-Blood Prince.

When a certain costume piece

succinctly defines an actors most
iconic role, they might well shy
away from it as they try to be seen
for a wider range. For Daniel Radcliffe, that means glasses. The Harry
Potter star has instituted a bit of a
ban on the prop that ties him too
closely to his most iconic role.
While promoting his latest film
Horns, he told MTV News hes
avoiding glasses too similar to
Harrys signature pair as much as
possible. His own vision is 20/20,
but if that changed, hed desperately try to stay away from resembling
that Boy Who Lived, who defined
most of Radcliffes career so far.
Its not like hes running from
the legacy of the Harry Potter
franchise. Far from it. The star has
had quite a bit of fun playing with
the persona.

How Big Will the Harry Potter Fantastic

Beasts spinoffs be for Warner Bros?
When author J.K. Rowling
said that the last Harry Potter
book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was the finale for the
series few people believed her
and many expected she would
find a way to revisit
the fantasy world she
created.
Rowling has mostly
avoided writing about
the boy wizard, aside
from some stories under
a pseudonym on her
Pottermore website, but she did
not leave the wizarding world
entirely behind as she has agreed
to work with Time Warners Warner Bros. on three movies based on
her Potter spin-of Fantastic Beasts

and Where to Find Them. Unlike the

Potter series, which yielded eight
movies from seven thick tomes,
Beasts comes in a slim 128 pages.
The book is not a novel but a
sort of textbook thats referred
to in the Potter series as
being something that every wizards home would
have a kind of reference guide to magical
creatures.Because Beasts
has no plot, it will serve
as a jumping off point
for the trilogy. Rowling will
at least write the first movie
(and perhaps all of them) and be
heavily involved in the production.

Gryffindor

The Gryffindor house emphasises

the traits of courage as well as "daring, nerve, and chivalry," and thus
its members are generally regarded
as brave, though sometimes to the
point of recklessness. They can also
be short-tempered.

Hufflepuff

Students belonging to this house

are known to be hard-working,

friendly, loyal, honest and rather
impartial. It may be that due to their
values, Hufflepuffs are not as competitive as the other houses, or are
more modest about their accomplishments. Hufflepuff is the most

J.K. Rowling Felt the Purest Dislike for

Harry Potter Villain Dolores Umbridge
Just in time for Halloween,
Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling
published a new essay about one
of her greatest villains: the Hogwarts professor and witch, Dolores
Umbridge.
Umbridge is one of the characters for whom Rowling feels the
purest dislike, according to the
1,700-word essay, posted to her
website Pottermore.Her desire to
control, to punish, and to inflict
pain, all in the name of law and
order, are, I think, every bit as
reprehensible as Lord Voldemorts
unvarnished espousal of evil.
Rowling also reveals that Umbridge is actually based on a
real-life person, though the author
is careful not to reveal her identity.
She does reveal that the woman
in question returned my antipathy
with interest.
Harry Potter fans have long been
familiar with Umbridge and her

inclusive among the four houses;

valuing hard work, patience, loyalty,

cruel ways, as the character was

first introduced in the 2003 novel
Harry Potter and the Order of
the Phoenix.Rowling also reveals
new details about Umbridge in
her Pottermore essay, including
the fact that Umbridge is a halfbloodthe daughter of a wizard
and a Muggle (a regular person).
The author also writes that when
Umbridge forced Harry, who was
in detention at the time, to cut the
words I must not tell lies onto
the back of his hand, she became
the only person other than Lord
Voldemort to leave a permanent
physical scar on the boy wizard.
In addition to the new essay
about Umbridge, Rowling has also
published more new writing to
Pottermore for Halloween and to
celebrate the launch of The Order
of the Phoenix onto the website.

Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw is one of the four

Witchcraft and Wizardry, founded
by Rowena Ravenclaw. Members
of this house are characterised by
their wit, learning, and wisdom. Its
house colours are blue and bronze,
and its symbol is an eagle.

Slytherin

Slytherins tend to be ambitious,

shrewd, cunning, strong leaders,

and achievement-oriented. They
also have highly developed senses
of self-preservation.[9] This means
that Slytherins tend to hesitate
before acting, so as to weigh all
possible outcomes before deciding
exactly what should be done.

Beyond Words: The Magic of the HP Brand

their wallets- and their hearts- for

17 years now and still going strong?
#BRANDLOVE
The Harry Potter brand clearly
extends far beyond the words in a
book. J.K. Rowling has a cult following who dress up in black robes,
ties, and round glasses and join
massive crowds at midnight-release
parties for newly released books
and films.
But books and movies were
insufficient- fans demanded more
interactive experiences with the
brand. They wanted to be a part
of the story. And so the first part
of Universals Wizarding World of
Harry Potter, Hogsmeade, opened
in 2010 at the Florida amusement
park. Since then, park profits have
more than doubled and attendance has increased more than 30
percent. And every Potter fan can
create their own unique experience
at the Park.
