I am writing to apply for the position of ESL teacher, as advertised recently on this website
I am a highly professional, results-driven ESL teacher with great experience in the
development and delivery of language programs to a wide variety of clients with diverse
backgrounds, beginners to advanced, from students and migrants to business professionals.
My qualifications include a Professional ESL Certificate (CELTA) and TKT (Teacher
Knowledge Test) in all three modules. My professional experience includes over ten years of
working as an ESL teacher in top language schools such as Caucasus Academic Centre and
The London School of English.
As a teacher and trainer at Caucasus Academic Centre in Tbilisi, I oversaw the instruction of
over 1000 students and personally trained many instructors. This role demanded the regular
creation of learning materials, the teaching of lessons, workshops and intensive courses, the
preparation of progress reports and delivery of in-house testing and instructor evaluations. I
oversaw a period where the school achieved the best student retention rates in the country
and was commended for my performance.
As an Academic Director and ESL teacher at The London School of English, I gained a wealth
of experience conducting lessons for business clients, supervising and training my
colleagues, creating variety of teaching materials etc.
