Learning Outcomes
By the end of the dispensing lab the student will be able to:
o Understand the indications and subsidy conditions for different osteoporosis therapies
o Describe the symptoms of cystitis and vaginal thrush
o Discuss the main drug groups used to treat these conditions and associated prescribing or subsidy issues
o Recognise the potential for side effects, drug interactions or concordance issues for osteoporosis, vaginal thrush and cystitis
o Provide appropriate advice to the patient and/or their carer
