Modern warriors needed an AR-15 weapon that could overcome the harshest
tactical environments. So we replaced the traditional gas impingement system
with a cleaner, easier-to-maintain, short-stroke pushrod. Then we added true
ambidextrous controls and refined everything from barrel to grip. The result is the
ruggedly dependable SIG516.
