a quality which many people at that level, who have accomplished that much, lack.'"

terriblely. He actually was a very honest man who knew right from wrong and whn he wa

Adversity

Quotes: "'[Jobs] cared deeply about things," said Cook, in the latest excerpt from
'Becoming Steve Jobs,' an upcoming biography about the Apple founder. 'Yes, he was
very passionate about things, and he wanted things to be perfect. And that was what was
great about him.' 'And a lot of people mistook that passion for arrogance," said Cook. 'He
wasn't a saint. I'm not saying that. None of us are. But it's emphatically untrue that he
wasn't a great human being.'"
Paraphrasing: Steve Jobs had to deal with perception issues from the public. Outsiders
from his company thought that he was just a stuck up, heartless, rich person but he was
the opposite of this. He was down to earth and he cared about everyone but he was a
perfectionist that people mistook for arrogance.

Quotes: "The Macintosh did not sell well to businesses, however. It lacked features other
personal computers had, such as a corresponding high quality printer. The failure of the
Macintosh signaled the beginning of Jobs's downfall at Apple. Jobs resigned in 1985
from the company he had helped found, though he retained his title as chairman of its
board of directors."
Paraphrasing: This is when Jobs and Wozniak invented a new, easy to use, computer but
didn't sell very well because it had lacked the higher end technology of that era that other
computers had. tThis made people not want to buy the new model which started the

Personal computers began an entirely new way of processing information."
Paraphrasing: This is what Steve Jobs is known for which is his computer. This computer
was revolutionary because before he invented the personal computer all computers were
gigantic and had were very expensive and becasue of this your everyday person wouldn't
have a computer. If Steve Jobs never invented this schools wouldn't be able to issue
laptops like they do today which help increase learning.

Quotes: "With its rounded, brightly-colored monitors, the iMac system was popular with
consumers new to the information superhighway. Though Jobs had been criticized in the
past for his attention to style over substance, the look of the product was integral. It was
initially available not in five colors, but "flavors," as Apple called them: blueberry, grape,
lime, strawberry, and tangerine. Unlike the typical system, available for years only in a
dull beige or perhaps black, the iMac had a unique, fun appeal."

Apple computers. Customers liked this computer becasue it was fast, light, easy to use,
