RESEARCH PROJECTS
Principal Investigator - Eyewitness Accounts, Northwest Missouri State University
Fall 2014 - Present
Conducted undergraduate research through NWMSU Social Science Research Group (SSRG) on the
persuasion of detailed eyewitness accounts on perception of protagonists.
Utilized fundamental knowledge of research to design an original research project with a partner and
analyzed prior research.
Administered and supervised a survey to over 50 participants, collected data was analyzed using SPSS.
Presented at the Great Plains Students Psychology Convention in March 2015 and received first place for
poster presentation.
Principle Investigator - Masculinity in Pink, Northwest Missouri State University
Fall 2014 - Present
Worked with a professor through an internship to study the effect of pink on masculinity in a classroom.
Constructed an original experiment, examined possible methodologies through prior research.
Coordinated and collected survey data from over 100 participants.
Presented findings at the Great Plains Students Psychology Convention in March 2015 and received second
place for poster presentation.

Worked under Dr. Leach-Steffens to develop lesson plans which were presented for collaboration and
revision prior to administration.
Supervised and taught classes of 25 students over the topic of life insurance.

lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.
Produced and enhanced through professor inspection a portfolio, similar to a ten-year portfolio.
