Other Aspects
Tubes are produced in different dimensions and shapes as per

requirement.
Shapes - round, oval, square, irregular.
Classes - seamless, small-welded, and large diameter tubes.
Packaging - Polyethylene sheets, Anticorrosive, Wrapping paper.
The steel tubes are used in shock absorbers, high speed shafts,
machined tubular parts in many devices.

Reverse Logistics

Steel is 100% recyclable.

Defective steel tubing returned as scrap for production of steel.
Steel tubing produced by BOF process uses up to 30% recycled steel
Steel tubing produced by EAF process uses 100% recycled steel.
Recycled coproducts are recycled or sold for use by other industries.
- Slag used as construction aggregate
- Lime separated from slag used as fertilizer, waste water treatment
- Gases used within steelmaking plant to reduce demand for electricity.
Most of water reused with small percentage lost due to evaporation.
