Teacher shows 2 min.video that provides a brief introduction of ergonomics.
Description of Teaching/Learning Activities:

Teacher introduces lesson by showing a video


on ergonomics , then engages students in a
discussion based on what they understand
about the video
Teacher writes the word on whiteboard and
defines that ergonomics is the science of
designing the job to fit the worker, instead of
forcing the worker to fit into the job and
explains the principle of ergonomics.

Students listen attentively to the video and


participate in class discussion. It is expected that 4 VS
to 5 students will respond

Teacher shows PowerPoint pictures on the


correct posture. (Informing)
Teacher highlights the benefits of ergonomics
and asks students to point out otherstudents in
the class who are sitting incorrectly.

Teacher places students into groups and
appoints a leader to research using Google
some of the health problems from bad posture.
Each leader is required to choose 1 problem
associated with bad posture, discuss it in their
group and explain it to the class. Teacher
walks around the classroom monitor and
direct students on the activity.(Instruction)
Teacher distributes Activity sheet 2, and
corrects it

Activity sheet 1 Circle the correct posture. Based


on previous pictures shown. Students exchange
papers and assess them

students posture throughout the class.
