II. Integrarea disciplinei Fonologia Limbii Engleze n


programul de studii
Fonologia limbii engleze este o disciplin preconizat pentru studenii
anului II, specializrile Limba i Literatura Englez i Limba
Francez/German/Spaniol. Aceast disciplin se ocup cu studiul unitilor
segmentale i suprasegmentale ale limbii engleze din punctul de vedere al
valorilor lor funcionale. Cursul dat propune nite repere menite de a facilita
procesul de transmitere/decodare corect a mesajului n limba englez i de
dezvoltare a competenelor lingvistice i comunicative ale studenilor.Disciplina
dat are ca scop nvarea/antrenarea studenilor pronuniei corecte a limbii
engleze i prozodiei specifice acestei limbi.
Cunotinele achiziionate n cadrul cursului dat completeaz cunotinele
nsuite la disciplina ntroducere n lingvistic.
Cursul este divizat n 16 ore teoretice i 44 ore practice care sunt structurate
in 5 module.

III.OBIECTIVELE GENERALE ALE DISCIPLINEI


Drept consecin a studierii disciplinei, studentul trebuie, la nivel de:
a)cunoatere i inelegere:
-s-si formeze o imagine integral asupra problematicii fonologiei limbii
engleze;
-s identifice nivelul fonologic segmental i nivelul fonologic suprasegmental al
limbii engleze;
-s analizeze i s caracterizeze particularitile unitilor fonologice segmentale
i suprasegmentale;

b)aplicare:
-s aplice adecvat terminologia nvat;
-s explice un fenomen fonologic prim prisma teoriilor existente n tiina

fonologic;
-s-i cultive capaciti de lucru independent i de formare continu n domeniu;
-s fac distincie dintre inventarul fonemic englez i cel matern;
-s aplice cunotinele acumulate la disciplin n diverse situaii ale demersului
tiinific;
c)integrare:
-s contientizeze importana disciplinei Fonologia Limbii Engleze n formarea
specialistului n domeniu;
-s contrbuie la depirea dificultilor fonetice i fonologice, aprute n procesul
de studiere al limbii engleze;
-s integreze informaia achiziionat la disciplin cu procesul de
predare/nvare al limbii engleze;
-s aprecieze interdependena cursului cu alte disciplinei;
-s-i dezvolte rigurozitatea gndirii,capacitile analitice;

IV.COMPETENE DEZVOLTATE N CADRUL CURSULUI


-identificarea i definirea anumitor termeni fonologici;
-producerea unui discurs fluent, respectnd fenomenele fonologice i fonetice;
-compararea/contrastarea inventarului fonemic englez cu cel matern;
-utilizarea terminologiei corespunztoare n procesul de analiz fonologic.
-recunoaterea fenomenelor fonologice utilizate in limba englez:
-dezvoltarea abilitilor de audiere si comprehensiune a textelor nregistrate de
vorbitorii nativi:
-dezvolatrea abilitilor de pronunie corect a limbii engleze.

V.SUGESTII METODOLOGICE

Realizarea obiectivelor i coninuturilor cursului se va efectua prin


mbinarea optim a metodelor clasice (prezentarea i explicarea materialului
teoretic), i a celor moderne (dezbaterea, problematizarea, studiu de caz, lecturi).

X.EVALUAREA DISCIPLINEI

15. Word-stress.

Disciplina Fonologia Limbii Engleze are un caracter dublu: teoretic i practic,


deci evaluarea cunotinelor va lua n considerare:
-activitatea la curs i ore de laborator;
-rezultatele evalurilor curente;
-elaborarea referatelor.
Forma final de evaluare este examenul, pentru care este propus un chestionar,
respectiv tematicii cursului.
