After viewing a brief video, a

discussion will be started,
focusing on questions that
challenge students to think
about their viewing
experience and the ways in

understanding of characters,
setting, etc, in a visual
medium. This discussion will
serve to measure both
student understanding of
style in a work as well as
their ability to analyze a
work in a visual medium.

narrative structure to depict
the arc of a single character

the text but also to test their

novel, will be used to test
overall knowledge of the

assignment of the unit.
