LESSON STRENGTHS:
Great review of what student had already learned! Good job modeling and providing examples
beore asking her to give some examples. Student was really engaged! Great positive and
specific feedback as well! Great job using questioning to encourage deeper thinking! I like how
you made it fun by using the "game" of searching for words on the word wall. Nice graphic
organizer as well. I really like how you told her what she wil be learning tomorrow ! Great way to
make the connections.
Scratch writing is a great way of showing examples and non-examples!
LESSON WEAKNESSES: Not many! Keep striving to ask higher level questions.
Perhaps a good extension would be to have them find and
circle the "O" words in a newspaper or magazine...
