This week in KG1

Dear Parents,
We had a great week celebrating earth day. The students were
really interested in how they can care for the earth. Thank you for
sending in recycled materials.
This week we will discuss how we can protect our local
environment and why that is important. We will continue to make
Art with recycled Material and can still use items such as bottle
caps and little boxes. If you can keep sending them in that would
be extremely helpful.

Spring Concert
Math: We will be collecting, sorting and organizing data in a
graph from recycled materials. Identifying numbers from 1120 with an online story, games and centers. We will also
continue our learning of 3D shapes (cubes, spheres,
pyramids, cones, cylinders and rectangular prisms)
Language: We will be focusing on the letter sound /Z/.
Suggested vocabulary: zebra, zip, zero, and zipper. Students
will be practicing isolating and identifying the initial sounds of
/ Z/ words as well as blending sounds in CVC words
(Consonant Vowel Consonant)
Arabic:
