Unit Essential Question: What is worldview, what components make
up a worldview and how do you deal with worldviews different from
your own? How do you identify the significance of the historical,
political, social and religious context and its relationship with the
literature written in that time? Why is this important to recognize as

We have participated in Socratic Seminars before, but I will probably
ask if anyone wants to clarify how we participate in Socratic Seminars.

We will talk about some of the themes that are emerging from their
conversation to track as we continue reading the book. We will also talk
about symbols, or questions that they might have about the book.

2. What changes would you make if you teach the lesson again?
If I taught this lesson again then I would probably create a more
engaging vocabulary quiz. I think that it just want not challenging
for students.
