Asexuality and Aromanticism while generally
not caused by abuse can be caused by abuse
and neither delegitimize those individuals
orientations.
You should never assume someone was abused
because of their orientation.
Many peoples orientations do not match and
thats fine.
Orientations are fluid and may change within
your lifetime.
A person can be literally any combination of
sexual orientation, romantic orientation, and
gender. One does not dictate the others in any
way.
Asexuals can have sex and some do. Having sex
or not does not legitimize or delegitimize
someones orientation.
Not all Asexuals are sex repulsed but some are.
Being repulsed is not more or less legitimate
than not being repulsed.
Some Aromantics are romance repulsed. There
is nothing wrong with that.
