IMPACT on Student Learning- Lesson Plan Four

Essential Content: Dynamics
A. Before, during, and after my lesson, I asked questions regarding dynamics. I pre-assessed
and asked if any of the students could give me a definition of dynamics. We had been
covering the topic of dynamics throughout the semester, so I had many students raise
their hand to offer their definition of dynamics. I then taught my lesson and assessed
throughout teaching. When I did a post-assessment at the end of class by asking the same
types of questions, I found that almost every child could give me a definition or answer to
the question I asked correctly.
B. From my findings, I would say that almost every student grasped the essential content
and could explain the subject matter.
C. I feel that students grasped this concept and vocabulary so easily, that I might make the
questions and content slightly more difficult. Instead of just using loud and soft and their
corresponding symbols, I might add in other dynamic markings.
D. I feel that my teaching was very successful during this lesson. I feel that the students

were engaged and enjoying their learning. I also feel that my delivery of the material was
successful. Almost every child understood the subject matter and was willing to answer
questions.
