During my years at Caraustar I have had the opportunity to work in almost every area
of the plant. I am currently in the Maintenance department and have been for 2
years. My main tasks are maintaining equipment and fabrication/design of new items
that are beneficial to the company. I greatly enjoy fabrication, welding, designing, etc.
I am very proficient at my job and learn more every day. I have also had the privilege
to work as a Production Supervisor. This gave me very valuable leadership/supervisor
experience.

During my time working on the Oil Rig I learned various valuable qualities. Extremely
long hours and very strenuous work being the main ones. I was putting in 15 hour
days on average. Thus, how I was able to acquire a taste for such strenuous work.
Unfortunately I was not able to continue my college education while working these
hours, and while living in Vernal.

Being a member of the Army National Guard has instilled important qualities into my
life; including punctuality, responsibility, hard work, organization, multi-tasking and
leadership. I am able to work on my own or as a team member. I am a quick learner

Some of my duties include being a soldier, security, as well as operating and

My main responsibilities at SKF were operating the CNC/Lathes equipped with G-code.
I am able to use a variety of tools, make change-overs efficiently, read blueprints, and
stay within tolerances. I also operated the Laser Saw, Manual Saw, Printers, and all
other aspects of the plant; as well as problem solving, working towards deadlines, and
safety awareness.

Working in the manufacturing industry gave me experience in working towards
deadlines, being very meticulous, working long hours, and learning new techniques
quickly. Some of my duties include training new employees, simple mechanical repair,
operating large machinery, (CNC router, Heeseman sander, etc.), operating forklifts,
pallet jacks, and scissor lifts, as well as building all components of a kitchen.
