Lion

Lion (Sanskrit: Simha, or in Latin: Panthera leo) is a species of

the family Felidae or jeniskucing. The lion is the animals that live
in groups. Usually consists of a male and female lot. The group is
keeping his territory. Lion Age between 10 to 15 years in the wild,
but preformance captivity allow more than 20 years.
The lioness is much more active in hunting, while the male lion
is more relaxed attitude to wait and ask ration of the female
hunted. Male lion is believed to be superior and powerful than the
other big cats, but the drawback is that the lion can not climb
trees as good as the other big cats. Male lion overgrown thick fur
around his neck, it is more profitable to protect the neck,
especially in the free fights between big cats tend to pounce
scruff to immobilize the enemy.
Other big cats, such as cheetahs and leopards have a much
smaller body size than lions. Although derived from the same
family with tigers, lions do not like the water. Unlike the tiger who
like the water.
World-famous lion is Bongo. Lion who became a movie star in
the film George of the Jungle. Bongo is the most tame lion who
died of lung disease. The second most tame lions in the world is
that the pet Zamba Ralph Helfer.
