Improvements this software update brings:

Fixedabugwhereemailaddresseslongerthan31characterswouldnotworkasevent
destinations.Emailaddressesupto63characterslongcannowbeused.
WebpagestringlengthcheckingnowensuresthatSNMPCommunityNamesare31characters
orless.
FixedaproblemintheprocessingoftheRS485outputqueuewhichcausedoccasionalImproper
Shutdowns.

Modifications:

Addedadiagnosticcapturetool.IntheeventofanImproperShutdown,theCXCwillcapture
somediagnosticlogsduringtheshutdown.ThesecanthenbedownloadedandsenttoAlpha
TechnicalSupportfordiagnosis.
Increasedthenumberofcustomsignalsfrom10to20.
ThevaluesofthecustomsignalscannowbesetoverSNMP.
IncreasedthenumberofdestinationandSNMPcommunitystringsto10.
UpdatedfromArguslogtoAlphalogo.

Special Notes:

Anewbootloader(version2.01)wasreleasedatthesametimeasCXCsoftwareversion2.05.
Upgradingthebootloaderisnotnecessaryinordertorunthenewsoftware,butitis
recommendedasitcontainsanimportantfix.Theorderofupgradingthebootloaderand
applicationdoesnotmatter.
SNMPusersshoulduploadandinstallthelatestMIBfilesforusewithCXC2.05.

Known Issues:

ThereisaknownissuewiththeADIOCalibrationUtilityontheCXC.TheADIOwillcomefrom
thefactoryalreadycalibrated,sousersshouldavoidtryingtorecalibratefromtheCXC.If
recalibrationisabsolutelynecessary,AlphaTechnicalSupportpersonnelcanprovideawork
around.
